Title: Christmas Tag #1

This tag comes courtesy of Ariel of www.keystomylifeblog.com.

1. What is your favorite Christmas movie?
A Disney Christmas Gift. Some people have probably never heard of this movie. It’s an older movie, probably late 80’s or early 90’s. I have watched this movie every year-religiously. When this movie starts up, a smile always crosses my face. I pretty much have this video memorized, and I often sing it to myself throughout the year.

2. Do you open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Both. My grandparents always threw a party on Christmas Eve with extended family and their friends. We open presents from extended family. Then on Christmas morning, my grandparents come over and we all open presents from Santa and each other.

3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
Any Christmas morning, with the six of us opening presents. Cinnamon rolls for breakfast, with milk for us kids and coffee for the adults.

4. Favorite Festive Food?
Fudge. My grandma only makes fudge at Christmas. I’ve helped her make this fudge my whole life, so I actually know how to make this fudge.

5. Favorite Christmas gift?
I thought about this one for a while, and kept coming back to my guitars. I received a child’s guitar in elementary school and a Fender Straticaster in high school.

6. Favorite Christmas Scent?
Winter Pine or Balsam Fir or any of those Christmas tree scents. However, my husband is convinced these smells like urinal cakes, so I don’t get to fill the house with these scents.

7. Christmas Eve Traditions?
Like I stated above, my grandparents always threw a party on Christmas Eve for their friends and our extended family. My parents have continued this tradition.

8. What tops your tree?
When I was little, a multicolored star and an angel alternated topping my tree. My Christmas tree now has a small angel that was made from wedding dress lace. We received this for our wedding. Oh, and our tree is a little 3 foot one, so it works.

9. As a kid, what was the one crazy gift you asked for, but never got?
I probably asked for a horse, because my best friend at the time got a horse and I thought it would be cool if we had horses together.

10. What is the best part of Christmas?
Christmas lights. I love them! You get to see how people have decorated without invading the privacy of their homes. There is something super magical about them to me. And the street I live on is known as Christmas Light Lane from Black Friday to Epiphany.

Title: Christmas Tag #2

This is another Christmas tag from Ariel at www.keystomylifeblog.com. Some of questions are repeats from the first Christmas tag.

1. Favorite Christmas color?
Ice blue. Those white-blue icicle lights are soooo pretty to me. And they are Christmas to me.

2. Favorite Christmas movie?
This is a repeat from the first tag. It is A Disney Christmas Gift! Love this movie!

3. Favorite Christmas song?
Mannheim Steamroller’s Hark the Herald Angels Sing. It’s the first song I listen to on Black Friday.

4. Most Anticipated Christmas Tradition?
Making fudge with my grandma, since it only gets made at Christmas.

5. Tree: real or fake.
Fake. To me, it’s a better financial investment. I had a real tree when I was a kid, but my mom got a fake one as soon as she could. She hated putting lights on a real tree. It hurt.

6. PJs or fancy dress on Christmas Eve?
Both! Fancy dress for my grandparents’ Christmas Eve party, and then after the party…PJs!

7. When do you open presents-Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Another repeat. Both.

8. Do you believe in Santa?
Yes, in a way. I know Santa isn’t a real person. But I believe Santa is the spirit and magic of Christmas.

9. What is your Christmas wish?
For everyone to get what they want for Christmas, no matter what.

10. Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
Nope, and not for lack of want. Just never got around to it.

11. What is your dream Christmas destination?
I live in Florida. I’m already in my dream Christmas destination. I do not like the cold, and that is why I never moved out of Florida.

12. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, and Blitzen.

A bullet journal system housed in a Mead Shopping OrganizHer notebook.

  1. What planner(s) have given you planner peace?

None of the above. Mead.

  1. Pocket, Personal, A5, or binder size?

Personal size.

Don’t have an IG account. But I watch a lot of YouTube videos and I have a Pintrest account, so I get my inspiration from those two sites.

Sharpie Fine Tip pens. I love the way they write and don’t bleed through paper.

  1. Stickers, post-its, or page flags?

Post-its.

6: shopping lists, calendar inserts w/ daily pages in between, shopping tabbed divider to hold coupons when shopping, categorized To Do lists in alphabetical order, coupon tabbed divider that holds random pieces of paper not coupons, brain dump section.

  1. Did you use a planner for school?

Yes, I used At a Glance planners as assignment books during school.

  1. Rings, spiral bound, disc bound, other? Why?

Rings. I like that I can rearrange things on a whim.

  1. Do you use a Dashboard? How?

Sort of. I use the laminated cardboard that came in the OrganizHer to stick post-its too.
