Since I use a custom binder for my planner, I’ve gotten used to making the accessories I need for it. Here’s how I’ve made a custom size page protector for it:

I can’t believe September is almost over! Hurricane Irma certainly made this month interesting. I did get some knitting done in the mean time.

This video, Ep. 14 Slow Progress, actually went up two weeks ago, but things has been a tad crazy around here with Hurricane Prep and all.

The college was shut down for a week, so you’d think that would be a great time to knit. Well, let me tell you, when you don’t have power and the air is hot and stagnant in your house, the last thing I certainly wanted to do was knit.

Post-Hurricane Irma: The danger has passed and power has been restored. It’s been 13 years since I’ve gone through a hurricane. Wasn’t a fan then, and not a fan now.

Here’s how we fared during Hurricane Irma:

Hello readers!

As I write this, Hurricane Irma is working her way towards making a second landfall on the state of Florida.

So far, we’ve only experienced some rain and wind. The hurricane won’t really be on par with us until 2 am Monday morning.

I’m working on blog stuff to stay busy and keep my anxiety at bay, but since I don’t know if my internet connection will be stable, I may not be posting until later in the week.

Stay safe, fellow Floridians!
