If you’re a regular follower of my blog and YouTube channel, you’ve no doubt heard about my Planner Collection. In this What’s Your Why Not post, I explain why I decided to collect planners. And no, it’s not JUST because they were pretty.

My planner use and collection has changed over the last two years. The above picture is of my current collection. Here’s the video link where I go through them one by one.

In December 2014, I discovered the Planner Addict World and fell down the Rabbit Hole. I was fully committed to ringed binders at that point. I went from a 3 ring DayRunner to a 7 ring Franklin Covey Sierra, and it morphed from there.

I did buy some planners because they were pretty. My DayTimer Malibu in Rose Gold is the perfect example of this. I also, briefly, owned an aqua Franklin Covey Day1One with a crocodile simulated pattern. It was gorgeous!

Why did I start collecting planners? Each one has a function, like a purse. Some days I feel like using a particular planner/binder/leather cover. Ladies will understand this completely. Instead of having a bunch of loose inserts and papers, I corral them into various systems and I know where everything is.

Each one I still own has a story and a purpose. I’ve gotten past the keeping because it’s pretty (or I’d still have the aqua croco Day1One).

We all have collections. What’s something you collect?

Thank you for stopping by and spending some of your time with me. If you enjoyed this post or the video, you are welcome to subscribe so you don’t miss any new blog posts or videos.

I don’t have as many planners as you do. I am getting there. Really enjoying my garden planner right now.
