Creating a Page Marker for Your Planner

Not every set of inserts comes with a page marker. And not everyone wants to spend money on unpunched plastic ones from Target.

When I needed a quick page marker for my Mini Flex, I took a paper bookmark I had gotten from the library…

…punched it with the appropriate punch…

…took my scissors and snipped the holes so that the bookmark could be added or removed like paper in an Arc notebook…

Now this page marker isn’t going to last forever, but that’s okay. It is a quick fix with materials I had on hand.

And because I have a punch for my portable size Malibu, I can make another on for that planner as well.

I had a little clear plastic from packaging on greeting cards- measured, folded in half, and punched. It’s perfect!

It’s all about using what you’ve got!

This is a good idea, my planners prongs don’t open so I typically just use a piece of paper or a note card.

Never would have thought of doing this. I’ll be making these while I’m snowed in this weekend!

That was the idea! I have plenty of page markers for one type of planner, but I’m not using that one at the moment.

This is so handy. This year I’ve gone with a wire bound planner and have been going through sticky tabs like nobodies business!

I’ve been needing to replace mine. I’ll be looking for an appropriate bookmark.

Very smart! My page marker is falling apart, so this is timely for me!
