Florida Library Association Annual Conference 2015

Hi everyone!

Sorry about the lack of posting last week. I was fortunate enough to attend my first multi-day professional conference: the Florida Library Association Annual Conference.

I attended sessions on Collection Development, Library Outreach, and a few that were of a personal interest (cooking in the library).

My goal is to became an Acquisitions librarian at the college I work at. That particular position will become available in about 3-4 years. Until then, I am working with the current Acquisitions librarian and learning anything I can about Collection Development.

I plan on posting something else this week, but I wanted to explain my absence last week.
