Home-Ec 101: Skills for Everyday Living by Heather Solos

Summary:

This book is separated into four parts: Clean It, Wash It, Fix, It, and Cook It. Each part delves into the nitty-gritty of how accomplish things around the house, using mainly what’s on hand.

 Opinion:

This is a book every teenager should read. Yes, the guys too! At times, the author sounds life a 1950s housewife, but not long after she makes references to Firefly, Star Trek, The Big Bang Theory, etc.

 Definitely recommended.
