The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause

Summary:

A girl whose mother is dying of cancer befriends a vampire who is seeking revenge on his brother who killed their mother. Both bond over the pain they are going through.

Opinion:

This book is well written and the story moves along at an even pace. Due to a recent death in my family, I was able to empathize with the girl. On more than one occasion, I was yelling at the book for how the girl was burying her feelings.
