Fudge-Laced Felonies by Cynthia Hickey

Small town in Arkansas, where everyone knows each other’s business. Summer Meadows, who grew up reading Nancy Drew and Miss Marple stories, considers herself to be an amateur sleuth. When diamonds and cash show up buried beneath her rose bushes, she is determined to solve the mystery. But as she inches closer to the truth, whoever is behind it is out to silence her for good.

I didn’t appreciate all of the “Have you prayed about this?” or “God has a plan for us all” or “Put it in God’s hands.” Not my thing. It didn’t stop me from finishing the book because I really wanted to know the solution. Recommend.
