Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things by Randy O. Frost and Gail Steketee

Summary:

Two psychologists who specialize in OCD, hoarding, etc., interview and attempt to treat hoarders and understand why they collect what they collect.

“Hoarders” and “Hoarding: Buried Alive” in book form. Even touches briefly on childhood hoarding and animal hoarding.

Opinion:

Because I’m addicted to the TV shows, I found this book fun to read. The cases were fascinating and really gave insight on how hoarders went about making decisions. I feel this is a good resource for research papers, or if hoarding interests you, an interesting read.
